Prof. Yuk-Lap (Kevin) Yip
Yip lab for bioinformatics and computational biology at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute uses computational methods to tackle fundamental problems in biomedicine. Prof. Yip studies gene regulatory mechanisms by means of computational modeling, developing novel methods for analyzing large amounts of biological data, including those produced by cutting-edge high-throughput experiments.

Prof. Masayuki is currently analyzing ecological time series using Empirical Dynamic Modeling (EDM) to forecast and understand state-dependent behaviour of complex ecological dynamics.
